An event like no other

After celebrating the creation of RAF Bicester at the Scramble in April, the final Scramble of 2026 will mark half a century since the Royal Air Force Bicester closed its doors in February 1976.

It was also a stellar year for cars and ’bikes – James Hunt and Barry Sheene would end the year as world champions, and the Mercedes-Benz W123, BMW 6-Series, Lotus Esprit, Rover SD1 and Porsche 924 all hit the market. All will be celebrated on the Orchard Lawn at the heart of the venue.

Family entertainment will be provided by The Little Top, with more hands-on activities courtesy of the ever-popular Mini Landers and more.

Many of the buildings are listed and have been meticulously preserved, along with some of the fascinating features within.

Family fun

Every age is accounted for at a Scramble, whether it's the very earliest future car enthusiast or the young at heart. The Little Top is a popular fixture with free activities and crafts and Mini Lander Driving Experience gives a taste of the best 4x4 by far. Plus far more for your little Scramblers.

Around the Scramble
